Interessante articolo pubblicato oggi dal giornale ebraico Haaretz di cui vi diamo solo un accenno sufficiente per comprendere quanto basta. A woman stands in the forest, shivering from the cold. She has just been raped by Russian soldiers and has been separated from her baby son, who may be dead by now. It is January 1945. She is German, married to a German farmer, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of other uprooted Germans. The Soviet forces are advancing toward Berlin and forcing millions of Germans who had settled in the eastern territories of the Third Reich to proceed in long columns southwest, back to their homeland. A few hundred kilometers to the south, her compatriots are herding prisoners at Auschwitz on a death march. Some see this woman as the embodiment of German suffering in World War II - which only became a legitimate subject of discussion in Germany in the past decade or so, and is sometimes even likened to Jewish suffering in the Holocaust. But her son, Hans-Ulrich Treichel, who decades later would uncover the decisive influence this moment in the Polish forest had on his childhood and his family, does not agree with the comparison. "While I can compare one person's suffering with another's - both may have the same fear and pain - I cannot compare German suffering in World War II with Jewish suffering. Twin pop stars with angelic looks are new face of racism  America's white supremacist movement has an angelic new face: twin teenage pop stars whose songs preach messages of racial hatred.
Prussian Blue, a "white power" band now recording its second album, is described as a sinister version of the Olsen Twins, the squeaky clean child actresses of the 1990s. Lamb and Lynx Gaede, blonde, blue-eyed 13-year-olds from Bakersfield, California, have been entertaining all-white crowds with their music since the age of nine. Lamb plays the guitar and Lynx the violin. Their songs have titles such as Sacrifice, a tribute to Hitler's deputy, Rudolf Hess, that praises him as a "man of peace who wouldn't give up".
Performing for such groups as the neo-Nazi National Alliance at Holocaust-denial events and festivals entitled Folk the System, the girls execute Sieg Heil salutes while belting out lyrics such as "Strike force! White survival. Strike force! Yeah."

The twins have such a high profile among white supremacists that David Duke, the former Ku Klux Klan leader and presidential candidate, uses them to attract support.
Critics have condemned the twins' message and say that they have been brainwashed by their mother.
"It breaks my heart to see those girls spewing out that kind of garbage," said Ted Shaw, the president of the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People's Legal Defence Fund.
The twins' act was recently withdrawn from the Kern County fair because of "security concerns". Their mother, April, 38, a former member of the National Alliance, told the Bakersfield Californian that her daughters were upset. They "simply want to perform their songs: songs about Vikings and German history", she said.
Miss Gaede has brought her daughters up on racist beliefs using textbooks from the 1950s. She is separated from their father, who is said to have similar views and has a swastika on his belt buckle.
Prussian Blue, under contract to the white supremacist label Resistance Records, is one of a number of extremist pop bands, such as Blue-Eyed Devils and Angry Aryans.
The twins' first album featured songs called Road to Valhalla and Aryan Man, Awake. They depict a world "where freedom exists for only those with darker skin" and encourage the Aryan man to awake and "turn that fear to hate".The twins recently came under fire for stipulating that money they donated to the victims of Hurricane Katrina should go to whites only. In a recent interview with the magazine Viceland, they were asked what was the "most important social issue facing the white race right now". They replied: "Not having enough white babies born to replace ourselves and generally not having good quality white people being born."

Y este cerebro en la oscuridad no ha dejado fuera de su red la que fue la casa del escritor, en Islington, en el norte de Londres. A FONDO Una tupida red de 32 cámaras de seguridad rodea la vivienda del escritor que teorizó un estado policial que controlaba las acciones de todos sus ciudadanos. Así lo publica hoy el sitio web thisislondon. co.uk que ha contabilizado al menos cuatro cámaras que vigilan directamente las inmediaciones de la casa, y otras 28 que registran lo que ocurre en las calles aledañas, en un radio de menos de 200 metros.Según un estudio citado por el sitio web, Inglaterra cuenta con la impresionante cifra de 4,2 millones de cámaras de seguridad, una por cada 14 personas residentes en el reino. Esta cantidad de 'vigilantes ocultos' hace que un ciudadano sea grabado alrededor de unas 300 veces por día en las ciudades. Una realización hasta demasiado fiel de la pesadilla creada por Orwell en los años cuarenta en un apartamento de la cuarta planta de un edificio de Canonbury Square, en Islington, en el norte de Londres. El mismo edificio que hoy está rodeado por cámaras de circuito cerrado. Hay dos que vigilan las ventanas de la parte de atrás. También hay en los jardines aledaños, vigilados constantemente por dos cámaras en los semáforos, según la guía del ocio del Evening Standard. Tampoco el pub preferido de Orwell, the Compton Arms, se ha librado de las cámaras. Una registra los movimientos en el aparcamiento reservado a los clientes, por donde podría entrar hoy Orwell, de seguir con vida. Y en un radio de menos de 200 metros de la casa del escritor se han contabilizado otras 28 cámaras. Un entero barrio bajo control.
Oggi non esistono totalitarismi in occidente, poichè c'è un'unico totalitarismo occidentale. Il mondo precognizzato da Orwell si fa sempre più realtà e non c'è bisogno di poliziotti speciali con oscure divise, basta un satellite che nessuno vede, un obbiettivo, un'antenna. Intanto il sorridente telespettatore e telespettato (o espettorato), segue l'avvincente saga della "violazione della privacy": udite udite, leggi speciali per la tutela dei propri dati personali, della propria vita privata, carcere e sedia elettrica per chi fa video con il telefonino, clausole nei contratti ecc...e tutti soddisfati di come il Big Brother stesso ci parli paradossalmente di "Privacy"...Questa parolina magica che è entrata nel vocabolario comune dell'uomo-massa, un'altra parola che ripete robotizzato, come un Golem teleguidato dal Big-Low, per non alzare lo sguardo e vedere quella telecamera....a cui ogni tanto non sarebbe male rivolgere qualche gesto Gentile, come per...indicare...quale uso dovrebbero fare delle loro camere: almeno questa soffisfazione personale non ce la può togliere nessuno!

Sono due ragazzi di 16 anni che hano appiccato il fuoco intorno all' icona americana di Hollywood, probabilmente una bravata, ma magari inconsapevolmente di grande valore simbolico, hanno colpito l'icona di questa civiltà dell' immagine, stavano bruciando la nostra cultura di celluloide, lo stile di vita ormai adottato dalla maggior parte dei ragazzi che si identificano coi film, con gli attori sempre belli; ma quanto gli costa esserlo...
